I used the smallest of Erin's templates, initially thinking I would create a conventional Zentangle tile, but I was struck by how floral the whole looked without the outside circular linework. One thing led to another & so it was fussy cut & mounted onto some pearlescent black cardstock die-cut with a circular Spellbinders Nestabilites die (Standard Circles Small).

Love the look of this one. Can it really be a month since I was going to have a go at the wings one?? Time flies - pardon the pun.

Lovely design Paula, the outlining on the inner petals really make them stand out from the lower ones. It looks like multi layers.

Another stunning little creation Paula.
I agree with Arnoldo, it reminds me of a poinsettia and would be perfect for a Christmas card. The design also reminds me of 'blackwork' needlecraft. It's very eye catching and perfectly formed.
