My husband saw me experimenting with the tangle on a rough piece of paper & thought it was a snake - whereupon I gave my swirly scrawl a head which rather put me in mind of a duck-billed platypus. This is what evolved when I worked on the idea in my notebook & although my husband settled for it being a python, I think this creature looks far too benign for that so I'm naming it a "duck-billed brayd."

Wonderful detail! Your brayd is lovely and I love the 'swoopy' tail.
What a great tile. I'm with your husband, he may be benign, but he's still a snake! Love the cadent background, and I think your border is gorgeous. I don't see any mistakes at all.
thanks for participating in my ia challenge, you're very good at tangling, it takes such a steady hand,
Best,
Jenn

Very out of the box Paula, it is superb, and whether its a mammal or a reptile your tangle with Brayd is outstanding, just love the shape of it, so flowing.
You are really going to town with your tangles and this snake or duck-billed creature is amazing and sits so well within the cadent background.

These tangles are feasts for the eyes! Paula you are a master of this technique. I would love to hear how long a design like this takes and the process of how the images appear to you and develop into the design!
